This is a game you can complete within a few hours. Someone else described it as melancholic-cozy, and I think that's the perfect word for it. If you want to relax for the evening with just a touch of existentialism, this is the game for you.
I have mixed feelings about the game. To some extent, I absolutely loved it but I also felt somehow tired of the length of the game, the waiting, the fact that nothing was happening. Am I too anxious and impatient or was it a part of intended experience? After all - you are stuck on the edge of the cliff - aren't you supposed to feel the urge for all of this to stop? At some point I really just wanted to either die or be saved already. Whether it was intended by the creator or not, the emotions it stirred up, actually made me reflect on my life and attitude towards it.
Truly wonderful, just about two hours have past and it felt like a mere 30 minutes have gone by. Sitting in a car, talking to a deer, sounds like nothing spectacular, but I was enthralled by the engagement between this deer and the person at limbo inside the vehicle.
I had previously purchased a large bundle from itch with an overwhelming roster of games to chose from and I'm glad this one caught my eye. An encapsulating and magical journey that I would recommend all to experience themselves.
If anyone reading this previously bought the 'Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality,' this game is in there and it's worth a download.
it was trully something else entirely, i saw a lot of symbollism and parrallels in the real life, i may be overthink things a lot but the car that would not fall off due to that woman holding some sort of stability yet unnable to get of her situation can be interpretred as life in general, the minute you want to try something new to get out of your situation you risk certain doom, while asking yourself what other choices you have left clarity/an other point of view comes to you and it's up to you to do all the interactions with it, and be confronted by the inescapable might of the natural order of nature.
I just streamed this after 2 different playthroughs (one a year ago and just right now) and I'm just so struck by how beautiful this is. I'm so glad to recommend this to as many people as I can because people need to experience this. The peace and emptiness that I feel now is priceless. Thank you for creating this!

Really enjoyed the experience, very melancholic-cozy ♥
I started playing this a little while before sunset and the timing was really good - lined up well.
